Our artificial tree is still standing unharmed (maybe the fact that there is now no water involved, it has lots its appeal). Plus, they are going in for snip-snip surgery tomorrow morning, so they'll have a few days of downtime. They'll either awake from anesthetic to groggy to care about it or completely wired from 24 hours of no playtime. :-)

Have fun in Hawaii, Kristen!Shannon McKeldenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01760477502997551770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12073039.post-1165324350785077892006-12-05T08:12:00.000-05:002006-12-05T08:12:00.000-05:00The last time I was catsitting...they spilled thei...The last time I was catsitting...they spilled their water on the rug. Beside the toppling risk and sharp broken ornament pieces they can cut themselves with, they often chew on the light wires and get electrocuted and can choke on tinsel. Seriously, keep them out as we would any small child. (A fire guard works, sort of, and a tree skirt reduces them using it as a scratching post if that's what they're after.) Do NOT leave it accessible while you're away.Babe Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12699902314663057918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12073039.post-1165285327148849072006-12-04T21:22:00.000-05:002006-12-04T21:22:00.000-05:00Okay, if you have really nice drapes you're attach...Okay, if you have really nice drapes you're attached to, leave the tree in the house as a distraction. Otherwise, I'd put it in the garage. :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12073039.post-1165274045424690152006-12-04T18:14:00.000-05:002006-12-04T18:14:00.000-05:00That is too cute! Um. Not good. They totally had a kitty party while we were gone. They broke almost all the ornaments and gnawed on the cnady canes.
