I Wish I Had A Repeat Button

Yesterday was a great day. I hope today is just as good! Why was yesterday such a good day? I'm so glad you asked...

1. Ate a salad made from sprouts I grew.
2. Wrote 5 pages that I liked.
3. Twittered in earnest
4. Had some fun conversations with the members of my Yahoo Author group (anyone can join, readers, writers, anyone!)
5. Apparently ate really well, because I woke up 1.4 pounds lighter!
6. Exchanged some funny emails with my mom, who is made of awesome (which makes me the child of awesome by default)
7. Got to see my friend Mel's new FANTASTIC cover!

Now, I just need to do some of that again. Except maybe write more pages. It feels good to be back in the groove.

A New Website & Writing Stuff

In other writing news, I'm starting this week (my writing week runs Monday through Sunday, not sure why, it just does) almost at the end of page 91 - so one page past my goal! Yay me!

My writing goal this week is to end on page 125 by Friday. Not as many pages this week because I have a lot going on - Tuesday: chapter board meeting, Saturday: chapter meeting, plus parents arrive, Sunday: day of travel as I head out to a 4 day long writer's retreat. Hotrod is out of town too, but my parents will be at our house, watching the kittens and generally pretending they live here. Which means the hot blonde at the pool will not be me, but my mother, and the man tinkering with the 69 Corvette is the Sicilian I call Dad, not the retired AF colonel known as Hotrod.
