Today's my last day in Maryland. I've had tons of fun and it's been a great visit, but it's time to go home and get back to work. Plus, I miss my kitties!
In other news, my nephew's crayfish molted. That was pretty interesting. The crayfish then proceeded to eat his own exoskeleton. Kinda gross, but to a five-year-old, wicked exciting. Kids really dig the strange and unusual.

Ewww but fun!
ReplyDeleteI was getting to comment on the crayfish eating his exoskeleton (ewww) but then I noticed your 50 books in a year list. It looks sad!
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting. Probably would crack my son up. Safe traveling. :-)
ReplyDeleteOur hermit crab molted once. Eeww...
ReplyDeleteSafe trip home!
Hey! Cool!
ReplyDeleteMolting is a fascinating process. I remembering finding a snake's discarded skin when I was a kid. I kept it for a while until I got to the "girlie" age and decided that it was gross. I almost wish that humans could molt. There are some imperfections that I'd like to shed. LOL!
