I don't know about you, but stickies are something I can't live with out. You know, post it notes? I write everything on them. Character names I might want to use, plot points that sound good, details that need to be added in, scene sequences...all kinds of stuff. So what could be better than free virtual stickies that go right on your desktop?
Check it out here. Enjoy!
And if you don't use stickies, I'd love to know what you do use to keep yourself organized.

I have a stack of pads - legal pads, steno pads, little legal pads, spiral notebooks - next to my mousepad. They are all raggy and filled with countless notes and facts and info. I hate them. They are a symbol of my wildly organized life, and I use the term "organized" loosely. But I know when I need something I can find it in that stack. I MUST switch to a better system.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I use Excel for chapter outlines, character lists, book outlines, whatever I need to organize. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
SQEE! Thank you for the download link! How cool!
ReplyDeletePost-its are a MUST for me. I'm really tempted by those virtual stickies...
ReplyDeleteWOW, you posted early this morning. Sorry about the launch no-go AGAIN. ARGH.
ReplyDeleteJust checked your book list on the right. Um, you have some reading to do to get to 50! :)
Thanks for the link. Haven't used these. Look very interesting
Stickies, note pads, notebooks, scraps of paper, the backs of receipts... Whatever blank surface I have when I need to write something down. Not that any of it keeps me organized, but it helps me to not forget stuff.
ReplyDeleteOrganized? I'm unfamiliar with this term.
ReplyDeleteLast time I had sticky notes in my house, my son decided they were a good form of temporary tatoos. I was wearing 15 of them with various pictures drawn on them.
I use a notebook or post its. I have post its everywhere but my kids always seem to snag them...
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a notebook person. and I'm also very linear. I don't randomly scribble stuff out of order.
ReplyDeleteI like to make my list of calls to return, and cross them out one by one.
Ooh I love that site! Thanx :)
ReplyDeleteActually, stickies might be good, because then I could post 'em nearby. As it is, I use whatever loose notepaper is laying around, and can't always find it later...
ReplyDeleteGoing to check the link now. Thanks!
I have all shapes and sizes of stickies. When I had to unpack I had ziplock bags full of stickies I'd written on. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have a notebook I write wip related stuff in, but I always write my grocery list on a sticky and also blog ideas. :-)
