The Big Easy

Hotrod and I are in New Orleans for a week. We love this town - Hotrod is a Tulane alumni. It's a little tough on the diet, but I'm going to do my best to maintain.

We're going to do two things we've never done in here before - visit the aquarium and take one of the nighttime vampire tours. (Okay, those are both my idea but Hotrod said he would go.)

Hopefully we'll have internet so I can give you some updates through the week. Have a good one!

  3. My hometown! Speaking of food, you don't want to miss eating at K-Paul's or a more fancy place to go is Antoine's. YUM! The Jackson Brewery is a fun place to grab a drink, and a MUST is having a Hurricane from the infamous Pat O'Brian's!!!! I'm so excited for you! If you really want to experience the culture of New Orleans you need to hit the outskirts like Kenner and Mettarie too. Have fun and take lots of pictures!

  8. New Orleans is one of my favorites cities on earth, though I haven't been since Katrina.

And thank you for your brick donation. The donation from so many of my friends has been a true blessing and made this ordeal much easier to get through. Thank you for being one of those friends.
