Monday, Monday

How's the New Year treating you? So far, it seems great for some and crappy for others. For me, it doesn't seem any different than 2008 so far. Okay, other than the fact that I'm working on regularly again.

No major plans today other than a run to the store, workout and write. Thrilling, I know. I'm also seriously thinking about getting a massage. Now that would be new. It's been forever since I had one.

What's new with you?

  1. It's been a long time since I got a massage too.

The Master Cleanse didn't "take" with me. I had BAD caffeine withdrawals and had to quit. Wah. How's that still going for you?

I plan on writing today--and/or plotting--and going to the gym. Exciting also. LOL

  2. I plan on going to the gym in a few minutes and getting some writing done. I'm trying to get into a new routine. I'm happy to have my house back and the kids back in school. A massage sounds great. I think I'd like to schedule a facial soon. Maybe in a week or two.

  3. oooo a massage. That sounds so good.

My plans not that different from yours... Except that I need to shovel the small amount of snow that accumulated while I was out of town (before more comes). Plus I need to look for an actual paying job (as opposed to the one I've been working hard at that has yet to pay me. Sigh.)

  4. I'm hoping to do something productive today. I was down with the flu for a few days.

I want to know who you go to for your massage!

My plans for today include checking out the exercise room where I'm staying in FL, sending my husband to Walmart, and writing for 2 hours (min) or 1500 words.

  6. I had a massage last week...Love It! It pays to have a friend that's in the biz. This year I'm off to a fantastic start with my writing--first goal is to get it done, second is to get it submitted, third is to get it published :o) That's all really, oh and to lose 4 sizes by my birthday!

  8. Nothing new - just glad we're back to the same ol' routine. Kids back in school, Mom alone in the house...aaaah....bliss. ;)

  10. I would really like a massage, too. 2009 has started off smoothly. No major drama, no potholes in the road. Yet.

  11. Oh yeah, and Snicky was meant to be with this lady who took her. It turned out her other Siamese, Rajah, was recently diagnosed with massive cancer and had to be put to sleep. Snicky being there has comforted her immensely in this hard time.
