New Year's Eve!

Hotrod and I will ringing in the New Year this evening with my parents and a lovely Italian family that we're all friends with. The food alone will be worth celebrating. I'm sure there will be much laughter and chaos like any good gathering of a large group of pisans.

Plans?

What are your plans for tonight? Anything big going on? A party? A gathering of friends or a blow out bash? I've spent New Year's Eve in Times Square, the rockin' streets of San Antonio, the bead-trashed avenues of New Orleans, on a ship in the Bahamas, the beaches of the Cayman Islands...many different spots. But tonight, we're staying in.

I'll probably be in bed by 10 pm. With a book. Hey, it's my New Year's Eve, I can do with it what I want. Not to mention Hotrod will be snoring by 11 PM at the latest anyway.

In other news, it's Day 3 of the Master Cleanse and I'm down another pound. (2 days, 6 pounds for those of you playing along with the home game.) I got out for another 35 minute walk yesterday - man, that feels good! It's so nice to be out in the sunshine.
