Goals, Motivation, Conflict

Interesting Tidbit: Researchers say those who start their diet on a Monday only have a 30% chance of succeeding. Start your diet on a Thursday instead and you have a much greater chance of making it stick.

Today's Goals:
1. Write 10 pages.
2. Post some new pieces to my Etsy shop.
3. Workout.

Today's Motivation:
1. I really want to get my WIP finished.
2. New pieces help generate traffic, traffic means more possibility for sales.
3. Losing a few pounds before my HS reunion would be awesome.

Today's Conflict:
1. I have shows on the DVR to catch up on.
2. Downloading pics and writing up the descriptions takes time.
3. I'm inherently lazy.

I'll let you know how it goes. What's on your plate today?

  1. Very good to know. I like the idea of Thursday. Monday makes Sunday seem far away.

I have some errands to run today. Pages to print out.
Looses ends to tie up etc.

    Good luck to you today!

  2. My plate consists of work, shopping for a girdle (seriously) to go with my costume, preparing for my interview tomorrow (new job offer, yay!) and printing my WIP for critiquing. Not sure how all of that will go, but it's on my plate next to the veggies I didn't eat at lunch:o)

  3. Oh I agree! The pics and the writeups take time! I have been busting butt today trying to get something new listed also, and starting my new project. I really really wanted to work on my tan but never got around to it :(
I hope you got to watch your dvr'd shows!

  4. We're doing the whole 'counting calories' thing, and we diet from Monday to Monday. Other than those moving weeks, we've been doing pretty good. Ugh, you're going to your reunion? I never got an invite to mine. I'm probably on the 'missing and presumed dead' list. LOL

My plate today is more like a bowl. I decided to make homemade chicken stew. Other than that, I really need to get some writing done, and I'm in the middle of JA Jance's Birds of Prey. And there's always more unpacking to be done.
