Action!

Hotrod and I never made it to the movies on Friday like we planned, so today is well and truly movie day. In fact, we're going to two in an effort to catch up. Since his birthday was Saturday, he gets to pick the movies. Probably Taken with Liam Neeson and no idea on the second one. I don't care, I'm just happy to go. We have a great theater near us with stadium seating and most matinee's are pretty empty. Usually it's us and one other couple. You can't beat that!

Have you been to any movies lately? What did you see? Was it good? Should we go see it?

  1. I heard Taken was pretty cool. Last movie I saw was on a date with hubby, which was nice. :-)

  2. 'Taken' is on my must-see list, too. The last movie I saw was 'Doubt' which was undoubtably a downer.

  3. My sister loved Taken. Stinger and I had a movie marathon this weekend in our home theater, including Bottle Shock, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Zach and Miri Make a Porno, The Dark Knight, and Revolver.

The last movie we saw was The Dark Knight (this past summer). We've been talking about seeing Taken. Let me know if it's too intense for me!

  5. Oh gosh I haven't seen a movie since the summer and we took the kids - yeah a pleasurable experience (not).

Have fun and let us know how the movies were!

  6. The last movie I saw in the Theater was Madagascar 2. I went with the OI Girl and a bunch of her girlfriends from work. You should have heard them howling with laughter at Moto-Moto-s butt!
My favorite part was when they launched the plane from that big slingshot!

  7. This weekend I saw 'He's Just Not That Into You'. It was hilarious! Taken is next on my list :)

  8. I saw Taken and really enjoyed it. Let me know what you think. I still want to see Slumdog.

  9. The last movie I saw was My Bloody Valentine last night...I am not sure why we went to see this except possibly for the eye candy of Jensen Ackles. I am really not a fan of bloody horror movies and I even forced my sister to come along.

I saw Taken and I really liked it and my husband loved it. We saw He's Just Not That Into You and I thought it was very fun. Gran Torino was, also, excellent.

I love movies and we go pretty often. Oh, it was my son's 15th birtday on Saturday too. I hope that your and your guy have a great day.

  10. We're big Netflix people - so Saturday (valentines day, yes) was Surfs Up - penquins who surf!
Sunday I tried to watch Mistress of Spices, but it was pretty slow, and the disk started skipping during the last 30 minutes. I don't really care to find out what happened. But good LORD could Aishwarya Rai be any more beautiful? she's just stunning.

  12. I saw Taken, and it was pretty good. Classic action/suspense movie, reminded me a bit of Man on Fire.

  13. I haven't been to the movies in a while, but when I do "Shopaholic" is #1 on my list. I did however see "The Visitor" on DVD. It was fantastic:)
