Vrrrroooom, Vrrrrooooom!

I'm currently writing Flesh And Blood, book 2 of my urban fantasy series that's coming out from Orbit in the summer of 2011. In this book, I'm introducing an awesome new character, Thomas Red Creek. And in my mind, this is his bike. A crazy cool V-Rod with the ability to blend into a dark night or a lonely stretch of asphalt. I can just picture him standing next to it, hair blowing in the warm evening breeze of Paradise City...

What does your hero drive and how does it match his personality?

  1. I love this kind of thinking! My last MC drove a venerable old Jeep Wrangler she'd had for years. It suited her very well, since she was down-to-earth and practical. My current MC is older, was married to a doctor, has always lived life a certain, elevated way - drives a luxury sedan. I think the car can make the person, you know?

I can't wait to meet Thomas Red Creek.

  4. My hero doesn't drive, my heroine in my UF drives a big rig on the ice roads. The hero is just along for the ride. ;)BTW that is an awesome bike!

  6. Ooh, sexy bike. ;)

I just wrote about my current hero's truck last night! It's a Ford F-150. Dark green. It fits him - but it's in the shop. He would've never met the heroine if it hadn't been there so that's...a good thing. LOL

  7. OH, I spend as much time choosing vehicles as I do my characters! I do usually choose american made just to "Make a statement", (note I said usually). I have one hero with a small dirt bike, one with a big harley, One with a beater car, and the current one in Lone Wolf, releasing next month, has an old jeep.

  9. Wow, I love it!!!
My hero drives a Ford, because he's a downhome, comfortable kind of guy. But my heroine has a motorcycle. I like how you picked out a specific kind for your hero. That's a really good idea. Mind if I steal it? Not the bike, but the idea to do that for my heroine. :-)
