It happens every year. People come down decisively on both sides of the issue. Families are split over it, friends mock each other, children find themselves going without because adults have removed the articles in question for their own use.
The question remains without any black or white answer.
Peeps - fresh or stale, which is better?

Fresh.
ReplyDeleteI was sure the question would be "yellow or pink?"
Peeps are marginally less disgusting when they're stale.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for stale...and because I like to be different...I like the blue ones best. :)
ReplyDeleteI wondered why I was craving marshmellows. Must be all the peeps
currently in circulation. :)
L
in our house it is yellow or pink (Pink of course!) Did you hear they made a sugar free version this year? I saw it on CNN, not in the stores.
ReplyDeleteI prefer them stale.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I have a hard time waiting for them to become stale before I break down and eat them!
I haven't had Peeps since I was a kid (yes, they go back that far!), but I would have to say "fresh".
ReplyDeleteActually I don't like peeps. Too sweet for my taste. Makes my teeth ache.
ReplyDeleteStale and hard chewy. :)
ReplyDeleteFresh, definitely. And yellow.
ReplyDeleteI had a peep once and it was stale of course by the time it got here. Not bad, but very very sweet.
ReplyDeleteWatched South Park lately? My kids did that gig with them...it was hilarious. Take the wrapper off the peeps, but leave them in the box. Set your microwave to one minute. Put them in. Watch them stand up. Toooo cute!
