Happy Monday!

Most people have today off. Most people that aren't writers. We don't ever really have a day off. Even when we aren't writing, our brains are still cataloging real-life events that might work in a story someday, creating new characters, thinking of titles for books not even plotted out, eavesdropping on interesting conversations when a curious line of dialogue catches our attention.

We're writers. We're always at work.

But for the rest of you...have a great day off!

  1. LOL, you're so right. Even those days when I think I'm off, I'm working. (Okay, okay. Most days I'm a little off, but that's beside the point.)

Whether you're working on not, have a great day. =oD

  2. I'm sort of determinedly not working today. In fact, I'm watching Animal House right now, which is pretty much guaranteed to switch your brain off. Later, though, when I'm folding laundry, I'm pretty sure I'll actually be thinking about hot demon sex...

    And your're right.
    Writers work 24/7-365.
Yes...sometimes we even work in our sleep. ;)
