Random Saturday Posting

Ferret Cam! - This is addictive, even though he does little more than sleep.

On another note, I'm halfway through the ARC of Melissa Marr's Ink Exchange (the follow on book to Wicked Lovely) and loving it! YA is such an awesome genre. There is so much variety and so much great storytelling.

Lastly, I've started a new YA idea. Just 3 pages into it, but I'm liking it so far. It's nice to delve into something fresh, discover new characters, create a world no one's been to before. There's a kind of power in that. What are you working on?

  1. I finally worked my way through my chapter two block (YAY) so am just starting chapter three. Hopefully this one won't take three weeks to write!

  5. Right now I started a small vignette story just an idea I had to toy with. It's vasically the four seasons dressed in couture fashion having tea together.

  6. Yay on the new project! =oD

I just finished hardcopy editing my 'near-future noir' (Or speculative fiction... I stink at genre picking.) and I have to start plugging the edits into the computer. Also, I'm back to writing new words on my cute hard-boiled detective mystery.

  7. New must be in the air! I'm working on something fresh, too. Synopsis/background ideas stage, but I plan to get some actual pages written next week. It's contemporary, which is a nice switch from paranormal--I don't have to work out any magical theories for this one! Yay!
