Things That Tick Me Off

I consider myself a pretty laid back person. I think people who know me would agree. They'd probably tell you I'm fun to hang out with. A little goofy. A good shopper. You might even hear life of the party, but I don't want to brag. So as a rule, it generally takes a lot to get my Sicilian up. There are certain things that will do it:

1. Hurting an animal.
2. Hurting one of my friends/family members.
And now, for the latest addition:
3. Badmouthing the chapter I and the other board members have poured so much work into over the last 14 months when you, as a member who can barely be bothered to show up for monthly meetings, have done squat to make a difference except use the chapter loop to blast your promo messages on.
Yeah, I'm pretty much over that.
What ticks you off? Wanna rant about something? Let it rip, baby.

I know from personal experience that you are all of these things and more.

Also I would add great cook, grower of the best sweet basil in Florida and the only person I'd need in my corner during any battle. :)

I totally concur with your list of 'tick me off' things.
    I'd add only this…
I'm very ticked off by those people who are completely self-serving and obtuse when it comes to praising others and 'their' successes.

  3. Rant:
    PHONE COMPANIES.
They're such a rip. And why can't I just talk to a person and not go through those stupid automated messages? When I got through to a person, they disconnected me. Then I had to call back and go through the automated messgaes AGAIN, only to get to a person who said they would check into my question. But what they really did was to put me through a bunch of automated prompts again.
    Grrrrrr. :(

  4. You know what? I would LOVE to be in a chapter with you-even BE in a chapter! (They are about 4 hours away) To be surrounded by people that Get It is a dream, so yeah, I can completely understand the rant. Lack of gratitude and a jigger of sour grapes.

  8. Hypocrisy ticks me off, in general. Basically, that's what your #3 is. It's the most aggravating thing, to me.
