DO NOT BUY THESE

Stay away from these two special edition Hershey's Kisses: Candy Cane (see picture above) and Cherry Cordial (see picture below) . They're of the devil (and Lara Santiago) and should be avoided at all costs - including the cost of new jeans, if I keep eating them at the rate I have been. I guess I should ask Santa for willpower. Or lipo.

If Hershey's ever comes out with a coffee-flavored kiss, I may have to move to a country where they aren't sold. (By the way, I just found out there's a new Kiss available filled with coconut creme. Anyone seen these yet? It's the blue-wrapped kiss below. These might actually be my downfall, but I need to taste them first. Repeatedly.)

Is there any holiday candy that you find irresistible? Please tell me there is because I desperately need not to be alone in this madness.

  1. I'll take the kisses. Preferably in bulk.

OMG -- coconut creme!!! Get the behind me, Hershey's! (No, no! Not to my behind!)

I adore coconut and chocolate. Those Nanaimo squares I mentioned have coconut in them. And I drink Island Coconut coffee every morning. What is it about coconut that's so bone-meltingly delicious?

Maybe it would be easier to ask if there's any holiday candy that's resistable? }:)

  5. I'll take credit for introducing the Candy Cane Kisses to you...but YOU were the one who introduced me to the Cherry Cordial ones last Christmas.
    How soon she forgets! :)

Oh my goodness...Coconut cream and chocolate together in a kiss? (Huge sigh of yearning)

Chocolate covered cherries are my usual downfall at Christmastime, but with all these flavored kisses...well let's just say I'll be on the next table over during our soon to be required lipo session.

Well my favourite Christmas "treats" have always been peanut butter balls. Mmmmmm Gotta make them, though, so you technically COULD avoid these.

  7. OMG I bought the cherry cordial kisses last year and I ate the whole bag in about two days. Evil.
I didn't know about the coconut kisses...I might have to try those next :-)

For me, the most irresistable candy is Peeps. I don't care what the holiday is - give me Peeps!

  8. I saw those cherry cordial ones at the store the other day & wondered if they were any good.
I'm going to have to break down & try them now.

Oh, and as for my holiday weakness.. it's Cadbury Eggs.. and Milky Way Eggs.. and Snickers Eggs.. etc.

  10. The coconut creme were out here during the summer and are really good. The truffle filled are also quite delish. Don't care too much for the cherry cordial ones.

hahaha now I know why "we" are having com"pound"ing issues!! I'm safe from the coffee and coconut kisses (hate both flavors) but pepermint? Why not just add another 20 right to my butt!! hehe

I've not seen any of these new ones, but then again Hawaii is behind in a lot of ways...
