Writers, most writers anyway, dream about retreats in magical places where they can do nothing but write and soak up inspirational atmosphere while surrounded by other writers (in my dream it's always writer friends I already know).

ReplyDeleteI went to the Low Country RWA jumpstart retreat at the beach where we stayed in a mansion and did nothing but write with 20 other writers. I didn't know a soul when I went. We had the best week and I met a lot of new friends.
ReplyDeleteIt was great getting in all that writing and finishing up, yet another MS.
All good things must come to an end...back to reality to four boys, two dogs and my DH!
Woooooooow. I'm gobsmacked by the idea. It's perfect! Someday I'm going to do something just like that.
