Weather or Not, I'm Writing

Weather Update: Fay is still here, pouring rain down on us. We lost one tree in the backyard and Hotrod has had to drain the pool once, but will be heading out to do it again.

No loss of power, which means I've been able to keep writing. Which is what I plan on doing today. I'd love 10 pages. I'm only at page 103 and I want to be at 125 by Friday, so that would go a long way.

How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

  1. Sorry about Fay and your tree. Stay well. The weather is sunny here and 77 today. Keep up the writing!

  2. I feel for you with Fay; I remember well the night of Hurricane Andrew. Not fun, but I didn't lose power (the only area of town that didn't).

Chin up, and please send some of that rain up Atlanta way. We're in desperate need of it, and still hoping Fay will send some up.

  3. Sorry about your tree and dealing with Fay. Hopefully she doesn't hit you too hard.

Since I can't brag on my writing, I'll brag on my weather. It's been nice, high of 89 with a breeze. Unheard of in CA in mid-August!

  4. It's sunny here--a little cool (75 degrees) But we're heading to the beach anyway.
Glad you didn't lose power and you're getting some writing done at least.

  5. The weather here is wet and windy, but nowhere near what you have.

I've got my fingers crossed for all y'all down there (which means you, my friends in TLH, a bunch of other blog friends, plus my husband's family). Keep your head down, and what out for falling trees.

  6. Sounds like fun. Not. We are getting a ton of rain here too. Not normal for August!

  7. How long is the bad weather expected to last? And is it affecting the Gulf side of Florida?

    Sorry about your tree. :(

  8. It's still yuk out! We've drained our pool a few times today, and our poor dogs disappear in the back yard everytime we let them out to pee. Aren't we considered the sunshine state? Where's the sunshine?!
